On May 21 - 22, 2012, I joined the Safe Chemicals Stroller Brigade's March on Washington to demand better chemical regulation.

On May 22, 2012, delegates from the Safe Chemicals Stroller Brigade, who gathered in Washington, DC to march on the Capitol, met with several supportive US Senators to push for the passage of the Safe Chemicals Act. Several Senators are backing this important legislation: Senators Lautenberg (NJ), Menéndez (NJ), Durbin (IL), Schumer (NY), Gillibrand (NY), Begich (AK), Blumenthal (CT), Boxer (CA), Feinstein (CA), Franken (MN), Klobuchar (MN), Kerry (MA), Leahy (VT), Sanders (VT), Merkley (OR), Tester (MT), Baucus (MT), and Whitehouse (RI).
This legislation is critical for our well-being. Did you know that there is very little regulation of toxic chemicals in every day products (from mattresses to carpets to couches) found in homes, schools, offices, churches, and, even hospitals!!!
